Especially the whole "Our five-year-old snatched a loaded gun from under the bed and accidentally shot mommy/daddy" -story...Because no one is ever sending a five-year-old to jail, and cops won't ask a grieving family uncomfortable questions...

I know the vast majority of those stories ARE true, but that's still almost a murder-for-free card for those smart enough to exploit it...
