in 1980, the pop. of muskogee was 40,011, the entire COUNTY had a pop. of 67,033. in 1990,
pop. was DOWN to 38,219, county 67,078. 2000 was 38,310, and county 69,451. so, pop in muskogee DOWN almost 1800, and county only up 2,000.

my guess is, whoever did that post in wiki was either high or delusional.
