But even still, funding for the internet would not be there if "big, bad govt" did not collect taxes from everybody. Unless you want to give everybody a choice on what to contribute for things not covered by the Constitution, like Social Security, Medicare, Universal Health Care, which won't work at all.

I get your point, it's just not feasible.
