thoughts. Also, thank you for posting "A Planet Full of Hitlers" from DU, 2005. Did you author that post? I am certain that I read it back then because the ideas and phraseology have been incorporated into my being.
As someone, who teaches history, I am not likely to forget Bush's comment on the subject of history nor am I likely to forget his family connections, to the villainous characters mentioned in the 2005 post and their bastard step-child, the CIA.
Pogo's wisdom offered introspective folk guidance in the past but I fear that we have become a people without time for or interest in self or civic evaluation, a people molded from dis-information served as entertainment at a counter-intelligence circus. We don't know up from down and we can't spot the many places in between. We've lost our common sense, something even those who failed to complete grammar school once had, today many with college degrees lack this basic thought processing skill.
Do you think we will recognize those few decent government types if and when they git out of the boat? Will we embrace the good governmental policies they promote or will we condemn them as evil?
