59. As a senior citizen

I too believe that our young have it hard enough in this world right now. However I see such discounts as a mixed blessing. My wife and I buy food for our children and ourselves and divide up larger more economical packages for them, saving them both time and money. When I buy a tool at Lowes I sahre that tool and often also furnish the labor to use it for my children. I recently was taken out to dinner by my children to Golden Coral. The discount helped them save their own money as they took the old people out to eat.
Your point is that because seniors get discounts younger people pay higher costs. I guess as a senior I am not sure of that. I do not know if the increased sales warrant lower prices for the group and I am sure the companies are doing it as good business.
