5. I have lost respect for modern Republicans.

They not only have their priorities out of whack, but they are also hypocrites. They affectionately tout the message of liberty and freedom and talk about obeying the Constitution, yet enact voter ID laws (making it harder for people to exercise a basic Constitutional right), oppose gay rights, and oppose women's right to choose. They tout fiscal conservatism, yet increase unemployment and the deficit when in office, while spending recklessly on warfare and military weapons we don't need. And they call themselves "pro-life", yet support the death penalty while opposing universal health care. Granted, the Democrats are not perfect (no political party is), but you never see them doing this nonsense and being this blatantly inconsistent.
