with military personnel, being supported by my (and your) tax dollars, displaying a symbol of a group that was dedicated to the extermination of people with my ethnicity.
Wait - let me think about it - nope, what you said is still an unbelievably strange thing to say about something so disturbing.

I agree. Outside of the swastika, it's the most widely-recognized nazi symbol, IMO.
