Bart the Bear was raised from a cub, too, and trained by Doug and Lynne Seus who are now caretakers and trainers for Bart's namesake, Little Bart the Bear and his sister, Honey-Bump Bear. He had never showed aggressive behavior toward his owners and trainers. Doug has said in the documentary that people just need to respect this powerful animals.
