As I said the letters fit their squad and it looks cool. I don't think these guys are Nazis or Nazi sympathizers. I'm not seeing this as anything other than a representation of their squad.
I'm not saying people shouldn't be offended at the use of an SS symbol. Far from it. But let's not make it more than it is.
Troops in Vietnam used to fly the Waffen SS colors because they are imtimidating and they were a badass outfit. It didn't make them Nazis.

I agree. Outside of the swastika, it's the most widely-recognized nazi symbol, IMO.
