I've had it so long, grown used to it. Used to have bad earaches when I was a child. Mom used to come in the middle of the night with warmed crisco oil. she would pour it slowly into my ear...about a dropper full, stop it up with a cotton ball...Now I don't know if this helped, it did ease the pain.

The condition started about 20 yrs or so ago. I learned to drown out my hubby's nocturnal noises by laying on "my good ear" against the pillow. I really had it so long, I think I would go buggy without it...imagine total silence?
