our lives, my Shelly was a 3 y/o chow/lab mix in the pound with heart worm
the staff at the shelter was paying for her treatments because she
was/is such a sweetie. We adopted her ( I had been walking her
for 2 weeks before, just kinda seeing if we were a good match.)
she is 15 now currently laying at my feet waiting to go outside
and then she gets her nightly treat.
she is my baby.

Try sign language. Dogs learn it really quickly (especially the sign for cheese)
