36. It's extremely hard to read Mein Kampf

Jun 2013

There is a law against selling Mein Kampf in Germany. While I was stationed there a reporter for a German television station illegally went onto the compound where our post exchange was (it was called Trumanplatz), went into the bookstore and bought one of the copies of Mein Kampf they were selling. And of course there was a huge uproar from the German population over this terrible thing.

So us being assholes sometimes, we all went to the Stars and Lies Bookstore and bought copies of the damn thing.

Hitler couldn't write. Mein Kampf is this meandering piece of shit that only True Believers will ever be able to figure out, or stay awake long enough to finish. It's kinda like Atlas Shrugged, but Hitler and Ayn Rand had the ass over different groups of people.
