And the only way they can do that is to control what The People can do socially. It feeds their huge insecurities with negative feedback(which they love). It makes them feel safe when they persecute someone else, even better if that person is powerless. It causes them to be distracted from their horrible personal lives. It moves us one step closer to living in a true police state, and that is the way the paymasters want it.
