8. I call people who aren't my representatives all the time!

Don't let that stop you. Especially committee heads, who should be representing all Of the US.

Can you tell me why this issue has come to be Obamas' responsibility? I ask in a calm and inquiring way. How is such a powerless president supposed to change almost 100% of the minds in congress? He couldn't even get single payer done when he was new and fresh and still had his powers!

Let me explain. Since the Patriot Act was foisted on us I have felt like I was living in a dark prison cell. All of these years I have been in the dark, surrounded by my fellow Americans. All of us hostages, with our rights removed....and then suddenly yesterday I read that folks are outraged at what Obama has done to them! These folks are just now arriving in my dark cell and for the life of me I just can't figure out what took them so long to be incarcerated?
