The government does not need to have so much disdain and fear of the people. We are a tolerant, good nation. That our government hides so much from us but is so intrusive when it comes to observing our lives is really insulting and troubling.

Government of the people, by the people and for the people. That is what we are supposed to have. We have wandered far from that ideal.
