3. That's a good video. But I don't agree with the final part.

Where he says your actions don't have great effect, we have to organize, we have to work together toward it. That idea, that sort of "lets get 3 million people to march on DC" idea is what holds people back from productive action, because its gets people caught in the infinite loop of attempting to build consensus. The machine is geared toward stopping just that kind of consensus building which leads to collaborative action. Its not geared toward stopping - in fact it can't stop - far smaller groups of people working in really creative ways to make the world a better place. The conclusion I've come to in recent times is that real power is in ignoring what the "majority" appears to think, and in just doing the right thing.
