21. I have to provisionally stand with ProSense here.

I say "provisionally" just as ProSense might agree with that.

I also stand with the people here who are very concerned about these revelations, although if they claim that they are in any way new, I must disagree. We've known about this stuff for years as has been discussed right here on DU, for years.

But I refuse to jump the shark on this topic, which many here seem to want to do.

No!! I do not support it. Nor do I think ProSense does.

ProSense is merely pointing out what we know -- and I hope, calling for a calm, rational discussion about this highly charged subject.

The name calling and strident invectives on DU on this topic disgust me. It makes DU suck. I have avoided jumping into the fray for that reason.

Be reasonable DUers. If you disagree, do so politely, with respect using reason, not wild accusations and hyperbole. I think ProSense, and many others here would echo these sentiments.
