my 17 year just told me about a test [View all]
A test that was designed to inform the student of their political leanings. I'd sort of let her find her own way in this political arena. Of course she does see the choices and hears the opinions of her parents.
We live a VERY red State...Utah. We live in an extremely conservative, religious community in this red State. Utah. She is an honest, respectful , smart, beautiful, ahtletic athiest....and she tested out as a strong Liberal 
Following the test, she said the class discussion on Zimmerman seemed clearly drawn along political lines and the RW'ers were clearly on the wrong side of social/moral justice. In her opinion all of their arguements were based on the right to kill...not the right to live.
My heart sings for a girl that can internalize the need to respect life:
