With more money than brains, they keep everyone from fashion designers to kitchen renovaters up to their eyeballs in mink.

Filtered tap water is great, I'll give the designer water people that much. However, you only need one bottle of the stuff. The trick is to refill it at home from your Brita pitcher. You get all the cachet of being a trendie with little of the expense.

You can also skip recycling days without all those cases of water bottles needing recycling.

ETA: the Astroturf pitcher's mound in the flooded baseball diamond is great. I think the birds stopped singing because she burped and scared them silent.
