The Catholic Bishops are going all in for a GOP Victory. [View all]

They think this is the route to overturn Roe and, sad to say, the abortion obsession has come to trump the Church's social welfare gospel. I think there will continue to be blatant intrusions by the hierarchy into the political discourse this year. This contrived dust-up over contraception is not the first example this year. Dolan wrote an appreciative letter to Paul Ryan extolling the virtues of his poor-punishing budget.
I'm Catholic but as much as I love my religion, I am equally put off by the men who are in charge.
