11. I have a problem with this, it's not black and white

I want our government to spy on white supremacists and militia groups who want to overthrow the government. But I don't think they should spy on the local library. I kinda don't have a problem with them collecting phone numbers to be checked with calls made to or receive calls from foreign countries. But would have a problem of wholesale collection of phone conversations, unless a connection is made with calls coming in from or to a foreign country with known terrorists activities. I haven't settled my mind yet, but also mindful of the short leap to complete surveillance of citizens. As you can see I'm in a kerfuffle lol
