2,5 billion short on the budget, oops.

Politicians telling us "be brave, we must keep "europe" happy.

I'm all for unity (so also on a european scale), but this troikanized (IMF-ECB-EU) Europe can go to hell. If we ever get close to the greek situation, I'm out on the streets till we have a referendum on staying in the EU. There never has been a social dimension to it, it's been a neoliberal project.

BUT, you'll like this: yesterday, firemen protested changes to their pension date blowing away the police with their fire hoses, in the most "no-go--zone in Brussels. We do know how to take to the streets.. Unfortunately, that is what they hope - get unruly so we can be repressed (watch tomorrow in Greece...) or just protest till we turn blue.

Me, I'll be advocating for direct democracy, strongly allied with Occupy. Time for something new - tabula rasa - the governed do no longer consent, and in the end we will win.
