How on earth did we ever survive in all our Sierra Club mountaineering trips in the Sierras before GPS even existed????
For the record: I was once a nationally ranked orienteer. No GPS in existence for that, either.
This woman's biggest failure was her lack of clothing appropriate for the environmental conditions.
