I am controlling what others do? Wow.
The restrictions we now have in place seem to work fairly well where the majority of gun owners are concerned. And many laws don't have the funding to be enforced. How many more laws do we need?
And let's say OK to universal background checks - and someone gets a gun then later has issues and kills people...what new law then would prevent that from happening?
When you have less than 1% of a group causing the issues maybe it is time to look at other reasons why such things happen and address those instead of the tools they are using. But that takes more work and asking harder questions.
