In June of 2008, the price per barrel was, in 2012 dollars, $ 130.00 per barrel.

All I can think is that the oil conglomerates have built in the ability to charge more for oil when people think that having Obama in the White House makes them feel as if a gallon of gas should be higher...

It also is a result of having way too many dollars washing around so the price of oil is more and more disconnected from the price of a Barrel of oil.

I believe there is a democrat in office premium built into the system.

I could be wrong but the evidence seems to, at the very least, provoke a question.
