You cannot inform someone whose mind is closed to any ideas other than those he or she already believe to be true.
You cannot reason with someone so fearful of different points of view that they condemn them out of hand.
You can lead a horse to water but it won't drink if it believes the water is poisoned.

Rupert Murdoch and Karl Rove have built empires on their ability to frighten people into believing Black is White.
