What if the recordings I buy are basically so called obscure artists who are constantly touring in their van and sell CDs to help on gas money? In other words, the type of music I normally buy is a long way from mainstream and if I buy a cd or download, it may help in some small way to get them exposure which they need to spread the music.
I do understand the gist of the article but I really try to support Blues artists and others who are making good music and cannot get heard any other way.
