and supported by Dems, to the biggest surveillance programs in history, also a Civil Rights issue, initiated and supported by Republicans and Opposed by Dems?? How does that work?

I support same sex marriage regardless of Cheney too, BECAUSE IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

I oppose the surveillance of the American people regardless of Cheney, BECAUSE IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

But if I found all those old Bush war criminals patting me on the back for agreeing with them on something most Democrats oppose, I would give some thought to what I am doing.

He now has Cheney, Bolton, Fleischer, King and Boehner and a few other Republicans, on his side. Most Progressive Dems otoh, oppose these programs.

That should cause him to wonder how he got on the wrong side of this issue. He USED to be against it too..
