29. How childish. And I thought CTs had their own forum here. Cheney is worried about what I might

do so he goes out of his way to do something I might like. Here's news for Cheney, he could give me a million dollar check and I would not take it OR like it, so he's wasting his time. But thanks for the laugh and further proof of how far people will go to avoid the issues and to desperately try to defend the indefensible.

I know how it feels. I did that, argued irrationally many times out of blind loyalty to Bill Clinton, for years, even went to right wing forums to fight with them on his behalf.

I was blind to what policies he was getting through. He was a Democrat and Republicans hated him and that blinded me to everything else.

Then one day I saw him with Bush whose supporters threatened me with death for my support for Clinton. And I heard Babs say 'he's like a son to us'! I was speechless. They were like old pals, these two who had so divided a nation.

And I grew up and learned that all that matters in politics is what they do, not what they say and since then I will never again go to bat for any politician unless s/he is standing up for the principles they claim to represent.

I hope one day you wake up too. It's liberating.
