102. Here come the smears. How despicable. That was 13 years ago and he was a 'recovering' alcolic

Maybe you don't know what that means? It means, not drinking or doing drugs but aware always of the potential to do so again and being vigilant to prevent it.

Now, do you have anything to show he was no longer a 'recovering alcoholic and drug addict' and if not, what you posted is irrelevant.

'I have smoked crack'. Really? Obama, in his book, also admitted to doing drugs. What are you attempting to imply? That he was still doing crack because he admitted to doing it long ago?

If so, then everyone one who 'once smoked crack' is also still doing it. I don't think you want to use that logic in your efforts to try to smear a man who just died in a tragic accident. We could follow that logic to a place that you would not like. But then, most people probably wouldn't, it would be just too ridiculous for words.

RIP Mr. Hastings, this country has lost one of few real journalists today.
