2. Being a draft dodger isn't bad

Bill Clinton was a draft dodger--while speaking out against the war.

What really sucks is the chickenhawks who avoided serving while being all for sending other mothers' sons to suffer, and bleed, and die.

Some time back, a group of us VN vets were invited to speak to a HS history class in Maryland. We arrived to see "VIETNAM" spelled out on one wall. The letters were made with 58,000 straightpins the students had spent 5 minutes each day putting in...

The teacher was a man who had resisted the draft, and refused to go when he got his notice. He served time in jail for refusing the draft.

And we Vietnam vets respected him. He was a great man, and a great teacher.
