but I really don't know. Your point about sexism appears to be based entirely on your own assumptions about the gender of the posters. Women engage in victim blaming all the time. Moreover, the other poster did not comment on the gender of the other posters in that thread. I would suspect she is no more familiar with their gender than we are. Now, I would not have made the point in the way she did, but I have witnessed what she described all the time. Nearly ever thread about rape attracts either some victim blaming or someone who doesn't seem to understand that people are talking about rape rather than sex. In this thread, for example, you have people talking about the problem of hazing. This is about the rape and victim blaming of a sexually assaulted young man. Some people just don't get it.

Women are not your enemies. There is no reason to jump on every discussion of gender by calling it sexist.
