3. I have a feeling that it's not just the calories...

...it's the fact that so much of our food is poison. It's full of additives, preservatives,
high-fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated fats, aspartame and artificial colors
and sodium.

We're eating a soup of bad chemicals. Unless you try very hard to avoid processed, packaged
and convenience foods (and it's almost impossible), you are eating poison.

Most in this study were elderly who are probably on fixed incomes. They most likely reach
for easy-to-fix convenience foods, and they might be on budgets that prevent them from
buying organic or other healthy foods.

No doubt this impacts our health and our brain.

What has happened to our food supply in this country--really is criminal.

The title of this article shouldn't be focused on the increased calories, it should focus on the
fact that the more food that our vulnerably populations eat--the more sick they are!
