Mitt Romney win in Michigan isn't sure thing, 2 polls say (Willard is screwed) [View all]

Could Mitt Romney be in danger of losing Michigan? A pair of new polls say so.

American Research Group released a poll Monday showing Romney trailing former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania in Michigan by a margin of 33% to 27% -- outside the poll’s 4-percentage-point margin of error, too.

Public Policy Polling, another survey firm, had the margin far greater with 39% for Santorum and 24% for Romney.

The PPP poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.
