But the OP blamed the entire male gender. That was what was done wrong here.
It would have been much more accurate to say "the Catholic Church doctrine needs to change". Their leaders are the ones who don't get it. They are the ones who need teaching.
If we cannot even agree on that compromise then it is not me who has the issues or agendas here.
