The links won't work that link to the page.
Hippa will NOT protect you.
First link fail,
http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/hipaa/faq/disclosures_for_law_enforcement_purposes/505.html
I took out the 505 and it still won't link
http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/hipaa/faq/disclosures_for_law_enforcement_purposes.html
They disabled linking directly to this particular Hippa page WTF.
so I copied and pasted the actual exception to the rule here.
Quoted from the Hippa site...
For certain other specialized governmental law enforcement purposes, such as:
To federal officials authorized to conduct intelligence, counter-intelligence, and other national security activities under the National Security Act (45 CFR 164.512(k)(2)) or to provide protective services to the President and others and conduct related investigations (45 CFR 164.512(k)(3));
Go to govt.sites for DHHS than go to hippa pages
you'll have to search for the quote in law enforcement section.First they'll they say stuff about
crime domestic abuse etc.than at the bottom you will see it
Hippa says none of our medical or psych records are safe from the NSA .They can read your psychiatrists notes.UGH.
And with the law going after domestic violence VICTIMS this bothers me.
FUCK!!!!
