You've got a valid point about child support but my logic tells me that with your reasoning, men should be much MORE vocal in supporting contraceptives, not less.

As far as the choice of having sex, men also have another choice--to make sure a condom or some other form of contraceptive is used before sex and saying no if there isn't or having some other form of sex that doesn't involve activities that lead to pregnancy.

You do realize that unwanted pregnancies would drop drastically if men refused to have sex unless protection is used. I know there are two people involved but if a woman isn't on the pill, a guy could refuse to have sex with her if he doesn't have means of protection. I also understand there are some pregnancies that happen when protection is used... but that's not what I'm referring to.

The problematic part of the entire contraceptive debate, some of these men and women want to ban contraceptives because they view it as a form of abortion--which is just ridiculous.
