I am a big fan of Maddow, Ed, Keith and Lawrence. I'm not saying Alex was perfect, because if he was I would listen everyday. My point was for me it is good that he isn't a 24/7 cheerleader of progressive talk/TV. I don't listen to be programmed. I listen for a discussion of issues that I can go out and research and make my own decisions about. Anyone that doesn't challenge the "team" is suspicious to me. I lose no sleep if Alex is gone. I really have no dog in that fight. I'm hopeful that time slot won't be filled with chaotic banter, humorless jokes that only the host laugh at and me being force fed the idea that everything is rainbows and jellybeans in Liberal Land. Because it's not. On a side note, even though I loved Keith's shows...he does sound like he's a huge tool to deal with.
