(11,197 posts)The police will tell you point blank that if you see something that concerns you - call 911 do not call the non-emergency number. The length of time for response for a 911 call is a lot faster then a non-emergency number because you do not become high on their priority list. That said, it makes me wonder if he intentionally called the non-emergency number because the response time would be longer and thus give him more time to act as a cop wannabee/vigilante.
If Zimmerman was that concerned because there have been so many prior incidents that occurred in that gated community it just does not make sense to call the non-emergency number. He claims that there has been all these prior incidences but they don't rise to the level of warranting calling 911?
The more I hear about his statements, the evidence and really think about things, the more I think that his story stinks to high heaven.
