Minnesota had a day when we were the hottest place on the planet when the heat index is included. The temperature was over 100° and the dewpoint was 88° to make the heat index 134°!

When walking out the door it just slammed into you and you were immediately were drenched in sweat. Old people without AC were dropping like flies (although I have seen very few flies in Mesa).

I was in Mesa once on St. Patrick's day and the temp was 100°.

Of course I've been in Arizone when it was 75° with a low of 50°. If it were like that year-round the water would have been rationed years ago.

I don't understand why there are so many outdoor fountains in Arizona. (Not just Fountain Hills.)
