...I remember him vaguely. Where I mostly remember him is from my father discussing his presidential campaign never getting off the ground in 1968. I don't remember why.
My father is a son of a bitch, a lifelong Democrat and he could have lived with George Romney or Nelson Rockefeller as republican presidents. His feelings for tricky dickie made my feeling about george w moron look like mild annoyance.
