Incumbent Philip Hart won 66.8%, over two-thirds of the vote. Lenore Romney won only 32.9%.

Lenore was the First Lady of Michigan, and ran less than two years after George Romney resigned to be HUD Secretary.

These days, you're going to find a lot of people in Michigan who simply don't remember George Romney.
