... and as long as capitalism exists, I'll definitely support the New Deal, and agitate against the attempts to repeal it.

But, and here's the rub, FDR enacted the New Deal to save capitalism from itself. He usurped a lot of socialist rhetoric in order to get elected.

So, it's sort of a conundrum .
