West has no aspirations of actual governing - he's in this for self-promotion.
After his steller military career imploded (he pleaded down to avoid a court marshall for alleged torture), he hitched his sideshow to the passing Tea Party parade, mistakingly adopted by South FL retirees in 2010.
But for all his talk about "gestapo tactics" and comparing Dems to "Goebbels", he has revealed himself as what he truly is: a far right-wing lunatic devoid of any real governing skills or realistic policy chops. Gee, that sure sounds like a certain political movement in 1930's Germany.
In 2012, he goes.
