that he made, when it included a reference to how imperfect America has been in its efforts, but how genuine those efforts are nonetheless. It made me think of ALL of that imperfection that he was referring to historically and I would have cried, except that I had to pay attention to the rest of what he was saying since his speeches are always so densely packed with actual content and a lot of what he says really is about a call to love. He makes me proud to be a Christian, because he is also very much dedicated to diversity even when it costs him politically.
