But there will be a backlash. Proposition H8 in California had exactly the opposite desired affects the bigots intended. Since the time that abomination was law to the time it was turned back was 5 years. In that 5 years the country turned from a majority anti-same-sex marriage to pro.
The wheels of progress have started to turn and as long as we keep up the heat, big changes are inevitable.
