I avoid buying Mexican or Peruvian vegetables, for instance, because I feel it's better to just eat seasonally and local in the vegetable world. But I have on rare occasion bought Australian lamb or a foreign-caught fish. (I buy Italian tinned tuna kind of regularly ... because, well, because it tastes way better.)

But "imported food" in general? I mean, you've never bought (or wanted to buy) Belgian chocolate, African or South American coffee beans, Italian olive oil, French cheeses, or any other imported food? You'd be missing out on a lot if you never tasted one of those things.
