However, DUers are easy to offend. If you inadvertently offended some folks, then an apology might be warranted, and it's clearly what you wanted to do.

In my experience, DUers will alert a post for essentially no other reason than they disagree with what is being said and have been lucky enough to find something inflammatory in the post that a jury might dislike.

In my latest case, I used a word (to describe a KKK member) that a jury agreed 6-0 was homophobic. It was a harsh and obscene word, but I cannot find a definition anywhere or description of this word anywhere that describes it as pertaining to an LBGT person or the community as a whole. So, I don't get it and I strongly disagree with the jury, but I'll avoid the word in the future.
