it might make you feel better about the trial. I had learned the first week of the trial that manslaughter is always a lesser included charge with 2nd degree murder under Florida law. Yesterday I learned that because a gun was involved, under Florida law, the penalty for 2nd degree homicide and manslaughter is the same, 25 years to life. Zimmerman is going to have to be acquitted in order to stay out of prison for a very long time.
