14. none of the stories I have read have told what time of the year it was, but I am guessing it

must have been summer, because I doubt that poor dog would have survived 12 hours in the freezing cold at 60 or 70 mph.

regardless, apart from the sheer original stupidity, hosing the dog down and then putting it back in the crate on top of the car, soaking wet--to drive at 60 or 70 mph for hours?? I would be surprised if the dog didn't develop pneumonia.

another thing, with five boys, and as rich as they are, wouldn't you think they would have an rv? or fly? really.
